Guest Dancing Angel
I have a problem. Recently, when I do my pirouettes I have a problem with keeping my eyes focused at a certain spot. Sometimes, I feel I'm tipping over. Is it because my neck isn't relaxed? Thanks for your help:D Link to comment
Administrators Victoria Leigh Posted August 6, 2002 Administrators Report Share Posted August 6, 2002 It could be that you are holding too much tension in the neck area and the head does not turn quickly enough to maintain the focus. However, it's very hard to know without seeing you. Try taking a breath just before the pirouette, and exhale just as you begin the upward spiral. This relaxes the muscles in the upper body and should help to allow the head to turn freely. Link to comment
