Gaining control

Hello! I'm 15 and I dance six days a week. Since I am tall (5'8") and more flexible than strong, control is something that I struggle with. It's kind of a long term project for me. I do Pilates usually three times a week, and I think about it in class, but when I watch videos of myself dancing I notice the lack of control. Some of my teachers have told me that I've gotten better so it seems like I'm making progress. Is there anything else I can do or should I just keep doing what I'm doing and patiently wait until my muscles have caught up with my legs? :wacko:

Pirouettegirl123 it does sound that you are progressing in a the best ways possible. You may need more time for your muscles to develop strength after growing. Be patient. Time is in your favor.
