new classes!

This is a bit of a vague question, but I'm hoping some of the brits can help!

I'm in the process of finishing a PhD. When I finish my labwork I'll be moving to my parents house to finish writing up. Thats near Cardiff. I'll be living there for at least a month or two. I've applied for jobs in Leicester and London, which (if I am successful with either) will start in November. Basically, I don't want to stop doing ballet, but I know it's going to be hard to find new classes. So thats where you guys come in. I am the sort of person who plans ahead, so do any of you know of any good adult classes in any of those locations?! Obviously, London is less of a problem, since KateB has put in the groundwork ;) I'm in grade 6 and ele RAD and I've been doing ballet for two years. I don't mind if the classes are syllabus or not - it would be nice to take grade 6 eventually, but I'd also like to build my vocabulary and try new things, which syllabus work sometimes limits. It would be nice to have a go at other dance styles too.

To recap ... I am looking for adult classes in or near:

Leicester

Central Cardiff, Barry, Penarth, Sully

London

I'm reliant on public transport!

Good luck beckster! If you do come to London I will know what's definitely good by then, and I think we're about the same level (and have similar preferences - RAD-addicts!:) ) So keep us posted - we should also have our get-togethers sorted by then too so if you come to London, you're sorted!

This isn't really a very good answer to Beckster, but the Council for Dance Education and Training has a county by county teacher data-base. The listings for Cardiff are at

http://www.cdet.org.uk/teachers.asp?county=Cardiff. It means ringing around, I'm afraid. The RAD database is likely to be more comprehensive. They send lists of teachers on request.
