Is Professional Possible?

Recommended Posts

I danced between the ages of 4 and 12, then took a break and have now restarted at 14.

I am currently in the Advanced Class at my studio and going back on pointe in a month or two

I really want to know if I'm being unrealistic wanting to be a professional in a major company (I know there is a lot of work involved)

I have a short torso with long legs with a lean body type

I am planning to audition for a summer intensive, but I don't want to waste my time is I have no chance with a career anyways.

Thank You for any feedback

mrekuc, there is no way for us to know if you have a chance or not. That is something that you need to discuss with your teachers. Also discuss auditioning for SI programs with your teachers. :)
