Hi !
I am a 17 year old, I did ballet for almost 2 years when I was around 6 or 7 but I quit. Now I wanna start over, but since I’m in a country which there are very limited ballet teachers and Because of political stuff I can’t take online international courses, I have no idea where to start by my own at home. Anyone have any tips?
I really need help!

Welcome to Ballet Talk for Dancers Afarang! I moved your first post here as the Teachers Forum is specifically for teachers to discuss teaching issues. Please do refer to our various Forums that explain how things are done at BT4D. Also, please go to the Welcome Forum to introduce yourself. We would love to know a bit about your interest in ballet however please do not leave any personal information.

Unfortunately, ballet is not something you can learn on your own. It does require a qualified teacher. If you are able to take Pilates, this is a good way to keep yourself flexible and strong for the day that you will be able to study ballet again. You can also listen to classical music, watch ballet on YouTube, if available in your area and read books about ballet. There is much to learn when one cannot be physically involved.
