Guest Leigh Witchel
Alexandra suggested I put this up here as she thought it might interest some of our newest ballet lovers! You can find out more about us at www.danceasever.org or just email me (link below) Sunday, September 29: "A Dancer's Day". Join me that afternoon in a dance studio in midtown Manhattan. I'll be there with members of the company to give a behind-the-scenes look at "A Dancer's Day". We'll show you what classes and rehearsals are like, how we make old ballets and teach new ones. This program is especially geared to newer dance lovers and also children (suggested age 7 and up; it's about an hour long, with refreshments after). Admission is free, but space is limited, all company friends at Supporter level ($100) and up have priority on attendance. Email me if you'd be interested in coming. Quote Link to comment
Guest Leigh Witchel
I'm bumping this up - we'd love to have some BalletAlertniks there if they can. For those of you who'd like to know more about what happens behind the scenes, or would like a little extra knowledge before you go to a performance, that's why we're doing it! Quote Link to comment
