(left leg) it went away durring the day but it would hert when i would flex or bend my knees. my friend said that it was shin splints. is it realy? I know you cant tell me for sure by not seeing me if it is or not. but soes it sound like i may want to go to the dr. or wait for a couple days to see if it goes away. thanks! Link to comment

It might hurt on the standing leg if it is shin splints, but not on the working leg. Whichever it is, it sounds like one of those things that should go away, so give it a couple of days and see what happens. Link to comment
Guest dancingostrich Posted September 26, 2002 Report Share Posted September 26, 2002 thank you Mrs.Leigh i kind of wrote that wrong i ment flex my foot and bend my knees, but not at the same time. also it herts when i do other movements. sometimes if i step on my left leg harder than normal. i dont know if that information would make any difference though. Bending the knee of a weight bearing leg is very different from bending the knee of a working leg. Flexing the foot can cause pain with shin splints. Bending the knee would not, unless it was in a demi plié. Link to comment
