psavola
The leather outsole in my technique shoes has worn smooth and almost shiny in the place under the ball of the foot. Is there an easy way to reroughen the sole? Would sandpaper work? Does it need reroughening at all? Päivi Quote Link to comment
Mel Johnson
Sure, sandpaper works just fine. Quote Link to comment
antbobby
I addition to sandpaper, if you can find a very fine wire brush - that works really great. Quote Link to comment

MJ
A good cobbler should have a suede brush. I actually prefer my shoes smooth. I use an electric shoe buffer to smothe the suede. MJ Quote Link to comment
