Ankle strengthening for ballet is done through things you learn in class, like elevés and relevés. Practice balance on demi pointe, and work on really maintaining the stability in the ankle.

thank you so much for the fast reply! those are the kins of things i was wonering about for preactice! do the pilates stretchy bands give any strength to the ankles as well?
