Guest Danceon Posted October 27, 2002 Report Share Posted October 27, 2002 One of my ballet teachers has been completely ignoring me all year long she has barely said two word together to me. I have been trying my best to improve my turnout, balance longer, lift up and everything but she won’t pay any intention to me at all not even to correct me but she will go and talk to another class mate or watch the girl right beside me balance and correct her and tell her how good she is doing but won’t say a word to me. Sorry if it’s not right to be saying all of this but it is very frustrating. Link to comment

One way to gain the attention of an inattentive teacher is to pay close attention to what she does in class! Listen carefully to the corrections she gives to others, then apply them to yourself. Watch her while she demonstrates a combination, and when she speaks generally to the class, try to look her directly in the eye. Link to comment
