I've a question. Is there like a limit where you can't lift or open your legs anymore because of the form of your legs, hips or something? Because i've been working out everynight and I get no real results and I must get more flexibility.

Hello Dulzinea, welcome to the Young Dancers' forum here on Ballet Alert! Online :(

There probably is a limit, but it's pretty hard to know where that is, and many people do seem to eventually get beyond what they might have thought was a limit. It takes a long time though, and of course a lot of work. How long have you been studying ballet? If you started a bit late, like in your teens, it is always harder.

:( Well, I've been dancing since i was 5, now I'm 17, so I don't think that's a problem. But i feel that I can't get more extentions. I was in a cuban course this summer and I improved a little bit, :P but it was after two weeks of being there like 7 hours a day and with the help of other friends, so I can't do those exercises that really helped me in my house. thank's Mrs. Leigh
