Guest dance4life87
alrighty, well heres my deal... This morning I took ballet and I did really good but then I came back at 2 (thats my semi-private class) and we started out doing pilates for the first half hour. Those pilates though, made me sooo tired and I couldn't concentrate and I was doing good, but I felt like it wasn't as good as a was in my first class in the morning. I was working sooo hard, and i was sweating too. Was the semi-private better because it was a harder working class with the pilates first and I felt like I was working harder? Or, are the classes that arent private better? Link to comment
Mel Johnson
It's hard to say without watching you. Actually, it sounds like you wore yourself out doing the Pilates work, and probably weren't working as efficiently. Remember, ballet isn't a "Red Badge of Courage" where you seek to make yourself as uncomfortable as possible as sort of a medal of honor! You should balance your effort throughout the day, so that you can bring the most to every part of your work, and not "save" yourself for a private class, or slack off in the private because you've tired out from the Pilates work.
