Well, try seeing if you are taller sitting down than a person who is actually taller than you are! ;) Seriously, just by looking at the length of your legs versus the length of your torso. Some people have one or the other obviously longer, others are more balanced and there is not a major difference. If you have a long torso, your legs will be somewhat shorter than ideal for ballet. If you have a short torso, your legs will be long, which is good. If they are balanced that is okay too.
