Ballet Talk for Dancers

It depends on how it's used. What is the context for how you mean "views"? That is, how is it used? Can you put it in a sentence that would show us what you mean about the word?

Now, in RAD, there are several "lines" - line of sight (where you're looking), line of dance (the track of the combination on the floor), and line of sight could be what you mean.

In general theater, a term is borrowed from military science, and the term "point of view" refers to "landmarks" picked out on the stage to keep you going on a straight diagonal, or around the stage without hitting the set, or other tracking on the stage.

There are other meanings, too. But these occur as the most likely to relate to ballet.

Jim, is it possible this is about View New Topics or View Today's Active Topics, and not something related specifically to ballet, but instead to Ballet Alert? If so, click on them and see! :) View New Topics takes you directly to all the threads which are new since you last logged in to BA, and View Today's Active Topics shows you all of the topics active today.
